Disc Springs/Belleville Washers are used in drilling impact accelerator or Enhancer.

Disc Springs/Belleville Washers provides upward/ downward mechanical action, an upward pull compressed the Belleville washers stack and the energy stored is released as the jar reaches the tripping point.

At this point, hammer accelerates rapidly and makes significant impulse.

Bidirectional disc springs stack absorbs shock waves during jarring operation to reduce strain on surface equipment.

Disc Springs/ Belleville Washers provides an axial preload against the latch mandrel, until the desired load is applied to the jar.

Additional energy is stored when used with a jar to increase impact forces in release settings.
