INCONEL X718 (Mat. No. 2.4668) is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel chromium material used at -200 °C (about -423°F) to 700 °C (about 1300°F).


INCONEL X718 has versatile resistance to corrosion which is outstanding, even in severely corrosive environments.

 

The material also shows superior resistance to high-temperature effects.

  • Using Optimum Flange Bolting Belleville Washers to avoid bolt stretch, low gasket pressure and flange leakage during high temperature and low temperature flange bolting.
  • Using Optimum Flange Bolting Belleville Washers to absorb vibration shock caused by mechanical vibration, which result in bolt and gasket deformation, lower gasket seal pressure and flange leakage.
  • Using Optimum Flange Bolting Belleville Washers to provide additional tension to prevent leakage caused by bolt creep, which result in insufficient gasket load and flange leakage.
